MAKING YOUR OWN FUDGE IS NOT ONLY QUICK & EASY BUT CAN ALSO BE PALEO, REFINED SUGAR-FREE AND JUST AS DELICIOUS!
Many people don't realise just how easy making your own fudge can be. What's more, you don't need refined sugar to make fudge, and adding our collagen peptides in it's place makes for a low-carb, high-fat snack that's perfect for enjoying on a lower carb lifestyle.
CAN YOU MAKE FUDGE WITHOUT SUGAR?
Fudge is a candy traditionally made with a combination of butter, sugar and milk. But with sugar and cow's milk off the menu for Keto diets - how can we make a Keto friendly fudge?
You don't actually need sugar to make fudge. In fact, leaving it out can result in a smoother, creamier fudge. Using collagen peptides to replace sugar won't add sweetness but will lower the carb content drastically and add a healthful dose of essential amino acids. Learn more about the benefits of collagen:

As well as collagen, the only other things you need to make your 3 ingredient fudge are cashew butter and 100% dark chocolate - hey presto, Keto fudge!
CAN I SWEETEN MY FUDGE?
Dark chocolate isn't for everyone, it's free from refined sugars and is worlds away from its milk chocolate, confectionary counterpart. What's more, 100% dark chocolate isn't for the faint hearted!
If you love the bitter, rich taste of a high-cocoa chocolate then this recipe is perfect as it is. If not, you might like to add something to sweeten your fudge a little. Check out the article below to learn about the best Keto sweetener options:

IS COLLAGEN POWDER DAMAGED BY HEAT?
It's a common misconception that adding collagen peptides to hot food and drinks will damage its nutritional profile. That's because many proteins 'denature' when exposed to high temperatures, as well as acidic or alkaline solutions. This means that the protein's structure changes slightly and this can affect its nutritional profile.
Hunter & Gather Collagen Protein Powder is hydrolysed into peptides, which means the protein has already been broken down so that it can be optimally absorbed and utilised in the body. So, it is less susceptible to degradation when exposed to heat.
Hydrolysed collagen protein actually keeps its integrity up to 300C - which is 3 times as hot as your morning coffee and much hotter than the temperatures most recipes call for. Our collagen peptides can therefore be added to all kinds of hot food and drinks, without getting damaged at all.
