What is bone broth powder made from?

Bone broth powder is made by slowly simmering bones with vegetables and herbs, then gently drying the finished broth. Ours uses grass-fed European beef bones or free-range chicken, alongside real vegetables, herbs and pink Himalayan salt, with no artificial flavourings, chemical preservatives or fillers.

Does bone broth contain collagen?

Yes, bone broth contains collagen, because collagen is one of the things simmering bones releases. Our beef bone broth provides 13g of collagen per serving and carries types 1 and 3. Our chicken version brings type 2, which comes from cartilage.

How much protein is in your bone broths?

Our beef bone broth provides 15g of protein per serving and our chicken bone broth 11g. Protein contributes to the growth and maintenance of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones.

How do you make Hunter & Gather bone broth?

Add two heaped tablespoons of our beef bone broth, or 15g of chicken, to a mug. Whisk with a splash of hot water to form a paste, then top up with around 250ml of hot water and whisk again. Ingredients may naturally settle, so swirl as you sip.

What is the difference between beef and chicken bone broth?

The difference is flavour and collagen type. Our beef bone broth is deeper and more savoury, contains Types 1 and 3 collagen, and works well for drinking or hearty cooking. Our chicken bone broth is lighter, brings Type 2 collagen and makes an easy everyday stock replacement.
