No unnecessary fillers, bulkers or chemical preservatives! Other brands are not the same.
Avocado Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, British Free Range Egg Yolk, Lemon Juice, Pink Himalayan Salt, Nutritional Yeast, Onion, Mustard, Garlic, Citrus Fibre, Dill, Black Pepper, Chives, Parsley
The 'leading' brands of dressings contain inflammatory seed & veg oils (as the primary ingredient) unnecessary bulkers, fillers, added sugars & chemical preservatives - all of which are not optimal for health. We only use 100% avocado oil & real food ingredients in our dressings, so it's time to get dressed up & not compromise on your salad topping.
The perfect condiment to add to your kitchen staples. Our dressings also act as a marinade for adding flavour at anytime of the year. Slather over veggies, chicken or meat and roast in the oven for a delicious home cooked meal without spending hours mixing up a sauce or topping.
We only use recyclable glass bottles for our dressings, paper labels & 100% plastic free packaging for sending your orders. We use British Free Range egg yolks from Red Lion Certified farms. All of our condiments are make in the U.K. too. We source our avocados from small scale farming coops. We support these farmers by buying the wonky or discoloured fruit that would previously have gone to waste (rejected for export), providing them additional income & avoiding food waste too.

Our Story
Yes - our dressings are made with oil extracted from the flesh of avocados grown in the picturesque region of Axarquía, in the province of Malaga. This oil, high in monounsaturated fatty acids, is known for its anti-inflammatory properties and its subtly creamy flavour. 🥑 Our avocado oil features an impressive fatty acid profile, consisting of 70% monounsaturated, 16% saturated, and 14% polyunsaturated fats, making it a healthy choice for your diet.

When searching for an approved dressing, be sure not to just check the macros but also the ingredients of the dressing itself. Rapeseed oil (Canola), sunflower oil, and sugar should be avoided and are present in most store bought dressings. Vegetable and Seed oils are inflammatory and we believe are best avoided in the pursuit of Optimal Health and Wellness. Hunter & Gather dressings only use 100% avocado oil and no blends of oils. They are also low in carbohydrates and refined sugar-free but packed with great monounsaturated fats so are perfect for a Paleo, Keto, Low Carb or Real Food Lifestyle.
Our avocado oil is crafted from the finest avocados grown in the sun-kissed region of Axarquía, in the province of Malaga. Handpicked with care, these avocados are a product of the small, sea-near farms, tenderly cultivated by the hands of local farmers who cherish their land and crops. The Mediterranean climate of Axarquía, characterised by its dry summers and mild winters, blesses each avocado with a unique flavour and richness.
We continue our commitment to working with small-scale farmers, supporting the growth of their communities. These dedicated farmers form co-operatives, fostering a spirit of mutual support, and enhancing selling opportunities and distribution networks.
We only use British Free Range Liquid eggs in our Ranch dressing. We never use powdered eggs like the majority of other food brands as they typically have undeclared chemical flow agents in them as well as the potential of being on the shelf in a storeroom for many years. We think that's just a bit yucky and definitely not optimal! 🙌
Our dressings are an ambient product (no need to refrigerate until opened). We also recommend not storing in the fridge until you open your dressing. This prevents it from getting too cold and potentially solidifying. Once opened and in use, store as high as possible in the fridge door. Do not store low down in your fridge or at the back of your fridge (the coldest areas that can cause it to solidify). We suggest your fridge is set no lower than 4 deg C.
