Bacon and eggs has to be the ultimate breakfast. Cooked perfectly using the very best real food ingredients, your lazy Sunday morning fry-up needn't be a guilty pleasure. Instead, it could be the best possible start to your day!
What is the secret to perfectly crispy bacon?
The perfect crispy bacon has to begin with the best quality bacon rashers! We always choose high welfare organic, and love this nitrate-free smoked streaky bacon from Coombe Farm Organic. Not only is it better for the planet and the animals, but the taste is next level!
Once you have your bacon - simply cook on a medium heat with no oil added to the pan. The natural fat on the bacon will render down to leave you with perfectly crisp bacon and an incredible flavour!
How do you like your eggs in the morning? I like mine with some added collagen of course!
Collagen peptides are a great addition to a whole variety of meals and drinks. They're neutral in flavour, packed with bioavailable protein and super versatile.
Adding collagen to your daily diet is a great way to support your health and enjoy better hair, skin and nails, stronger bones and joints and even slow down the physical signs of ageing!
If you're making the scrambled eggs in this recipe, simply add your collagen as a sprinkle over your eggs or mixed through some ketchup! You can learn more about collagen peptides in the articles below.
