What are the rules of the Keto Diet?

Keto (short for Ketosis), has become popular as a diet/lifestyle for its weight loss and holistic health benefits. The aim is to put your body into a state of ketosis by limiting your carbohydrate content to below 50g of carbs per day (some even recommend less than 20g of carbs per day initially), moderate protein intake and high fat (the good kinds). Can you make Keto Bread in the microwave?

Yes - this is best made in the microwave and only takes 90 seconds. Seriously!

Can you make Keto Bread in the oven?

Yes, you can also make this in the oven if you don't have a microwave. Use a greased ramekin and place the mixture in a pre-heated oven (190C) for 10-15 minutes or until spongey in the middle. We still recommend toasting after making, it's just better that way.

What is the best way to store Keto Bread?

We recommend, cutting in half once cooked in the mug and toast straight away (to make it extra tasty). However, you could make a batch and keep them in the freezer, to toast at a later date.
