What you need (Ingredients):


  • 300g full-fat cottage cheese
  • 2 heaped tbsp Hunter & Gather Cacao Grass Fed Beef Protein Powder (1 serving)
  • 1.5 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp double cream
  • Optional 2 tbsp raw honey
  • Toppings: full-fat double cream (whipped), berries

What you do (method):

  1. Add the cottage cheese to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.

  2. Add the cacao protein, cacao powder and honey if using. Blend again until the mixture becomes smooth, light and uniform in colour.

  3. Stir through the double cream or pulse briefly to incorporate.

  4. Enjoy immediately for a soft mousse or refrigerate in an airtight container for a firmer, chilled texture. Serve with whipped cream and berries if desired.
