What are organ supplements?
Organ supplements are freeze-dried animal organs in capsule form. Ours are made from grass-fed British beef liver, heart and kidney, freeze-dried to remove the water before being encapsulated with nothing else added. It is nose-to-tail nutrition in a format that is simple to use every day.
What is the difference between liver, heart and kidney capsules?
The difference is which organ is inside. Our beef liver capsules contain liver alone, our heart and liver capsules combine the two in the traditional pairing, and our kidney capsules contain kidney. All three are freeze-dried from grass-fed British cattle with nothing added.
How many organ capsules should I take?
Take between two and six capsules a day with food and a glass of water. If you are new to organ supplements, start with two and build up gradually. They can be taken together or spread across the day, whichever fits your routine better.
Are Hunter & Gather organ supplements suitable in pregnancy?
Liver is naturally high in vitamin A, and pregnant women are advised to avoid high-vitamin-A foods and supplements. If you are pregnant or trying to conceive, please speak with your doctor or midwife before taking any liver supplement, including our heart and liver combination.
Where do your organs come from?
Our organs come from grass-fed British cattle with clear provenance. That matters particularly for organ meat, because organs are the tissues most closely tied to how an animal was raised and fed. Every batch is third-party tested for quality before it leaves.
