What is collagen coffee?
Collagen coffee is instant coffee blended with collagen so both arrive in one spoonful. Ours contains 56% grass-fed collagen peptides, medium-roast Colombian Arabica instant coffee, and MCT powder, giving 5g of collagen and 90mg of caffeine in each serving of the finished cup.
How much caffeine is in collagen coffee?
Each serving of our collagen coffee contains 90mg of naturally occurring caffeine, roughly what a standard cup of instant coffee provides. Caffeine helps to increase alertness and to improve concentration. It is worth bearing the caffeine in mind later in the day.
How do you make collagen coffee?
Add two heaped teaspoons, around 9g, to your mug and pour over 200ml of freshly boiled water. Stir until fully dissolved, then drink it black or add milk. For iced coffee, top up with cold water and ice instead of hot water.
Does Hunter & Gather Collagen Coffee taste of collagen?
No. The collagen is unflavoured and dissolves into the drink, so what you taste is the coffee. The MCT powder gives the cup a slightly rounder mouthfeel, but does not add flavour. There are no added sweeteners or flavourings in Hunter & Gather Collagen Coffee.
How many servings are in a pouch?
A 252g pouch of our collagen coffee gives you 28 servings at 9g each, which is a month at one cup a day. Each serving provides 5g of collagen, one of the two servings in our recommended 10g daily intake.
