We’re a British couple on a mission to make better health simpler and more accessible.

As a lifelong coeliac, I (Amy) have always paid close attention to food labels, and over the years I was shocked to see how many added sugars, preservatives, and unrecognisable ingredients were included in our everyday foods.

I (Jeff) struggled with acne, asthma, and IBS as a teenager, and eating a conventional high-sugar, high-carb diet just wasn’t working for me. A chance encounter with a medical professional introduced me to an ancestrally inspired, real-food diet, free from refined sugar, grains, and inflammatory oils, and it completely transformed my health.

Those experiences became our turning point. We realised that real, nutrient-dense food, rich in healthy fats, quality proteins, and simple, recognisable ingredients was the foundation of better health. But finding convenient, trustworthy products to live this lifestyle was next to impossible.

That’s why, in 2017, we launched Hunter & Gather to make it easier to live that way every day.
